Last month i returned to Heathrow Terminal 2 and went with the Mrs (on a settlement visa) into the non EU queue and what a surprise we went straight to the front as there was no queue whereas the EUqueue was lined all the way back. The immigration officer was really nice to, they said its usually like this as terminal 2 is a European terminal so paid off connecting in Europe. The health check only took a couple of mins with Xray and Certificate done before travel to, was actually quicker for us than it usually takes me by myself.
