Farang Assualted By Soldiers

Featured Replies

Just saw on spring news, a farang got assaulted by soldiers while he was trying to help someone in the area. His nose was bleeding with blood while interview by reporters.

Farang better don't interfere with Thai politic matters.

More healthy

I hope it was the Aussie redshirt. Was he wearing a red bandana reading 'Thaksin'?

Not sure if he is a red. He said he teaches computer at a school.

Another piece of sensationalist racist reporting, using race to stir up emotion and prejudice.

Foreigners have been told often enough by the Thai government, by the police, and by their own governments to stay away.

Let's hope he goes home older and wiser,

This report might well remind foreigners who live here not to interfere with the politic. Stay safe and mind your business.

Good point.

'helping someone' that is inside the area means he is clearly in breach of the law himself. Perhaps he should be happy he wasn't arrested too...

Good one SC. :)

This is a silly thread, which deserves some more 'silliness'.

will his embassy now advise all their citizens, to leave Thailand, because "its so dangerous" ??

He doesn't seem to be getting a lot of sympathy. I'll know where not to come next time I do something stupid and take a kicking for it.
