Car Hire Phuket/krabi

Featured Replies

I got a flight booked down to phuket at the end of the week and was wondering if anyone has got any information on hiring a car for a week. I am planning on leaving phuket after maybe an overnight stay and then want to tour krabi for a week. Any ideas of prices and risks you take when hiring a car. I will fly out of phuket 8 days later.

Don't miss AoNang!!!

Most car rentals in Phuket average about 1000-2000 baht a day depending on the size of the car. You can get a Suzuki Caribean at www.phuketjeeprental.com for 600 baht a day and that's the best rate I know of. If you want a sedan it's usually 1200 a day and trucks are 1500 a day. Wekkly rates are discounted of course
