CRUNCHER
I will be moving soon. Do I have to change the registered address for my car and driving license with the Land Transport Department? If so what is the procedure, what paper work do I require and is there any charge? Thanks for any advice.
JohnLeech
Yes, to all three. 50 baht for the car, as I recall; I can't remember how much for the licences. Proof of residence from Immigration, although some offices prefer a letter of proof from your embassy apparently. Charges vary. Its hardly a hanging offence not to change any of them, so there's probably no real need to change them until you renew your car tax; if you've got additional car insurance you will need to change that too.
