Horseradish root

I have had such a terrible time with breathing problems of late with my Asthma combined with nasal polyps and rhinitis.

I've been reading I can get good relief mixing grated Horseradish root & honey

Can anyone be kind enough to tell me where to purchase this (horseradish root) in the Bangkok area please ?

For may years (6) I had similar problems during the dry season. I solved the problem by getting my sinuses syringed and polyps removed during rhinoplasty to correct a narrowed nasal passage.

Radical but effective. My breathing has been trouble free for the last 24 years.

Horse radish root is sold in most of the upscale supermarkets that cater to westerners. The jars with expiry date will normally be in the cool section near the cheese, etc.

Foodland sell jars of Morehouse Prepared Horseradish (from USA). In the Patpong branch it is sold with the other sauces (mustards etc), not in a cool cabinet. 'Refridgerate after Opening'. It's great with ham sandwiches.

Seriously though, I have this problem too........how big an operation is it ? It stops me sleeping well, though I have heard there are small inexpensive plastic clips you can wear which push out the nostrils slightly.

I tried a steroid sniff-up spray but it didn't shrink them at all.

Thank you kindly for your swift informative reply.

Rather than catalogue my misery which would go into several chapters to say the least, my quality of life has been a state of ill-being due to this terrible affliction or misfortune. I have asthma, rhinitis, nasal polyps, sinus problems and no sense of smell.

I've had 3 operations in Thailand and the first one was pretty dangerous, being in the theatre a lot longer than anyone expected and frightened my family senseless.

I was going to fly to Singapore for another operation after reading this certain doctor is an expert but after reading your case, I'm more than interested to give him a try, to see whether he can give me back my life - knowing by your response - you understand what I'm going through - having not slept properly for years.

I would like to thank you again having given me some hope to end this farcical existence and may normalcy come back to my life.
