Time To Change The Forum Policies

Featured Replies

Isn’t time to change the forum policy to what used to be before all these issues started? Things need to go back to normal ASAP to insure pole will feel good about Thailand and what TV forum is all about

Ah self imposed censorship, the perfect solution to Thailands woes.

You should've kept that thought to yourself. No one on this forum would countenance self-censorship, so there's no need to discuss it. You need to distinguish between self-censorship and the common politeness to refrain from posting opinions that are likely to stir up ill-feeling and discontent, or that are likely to attract the wrath of the moderators or external authorities.

Courtesy and common sense is not a euphemism for self-censorship

i dont think its the time yet, look at general, its swamped with politics, most of them about the same thing taking up all the cyber space.

Political topics don't live long in General for two reasons:

They are already being covered in the news and local forums.

Though politics holds the interest of many members, it isn't fair to the rest of the membership if we allow it to completely take over the forum. If many who post on political topics could do so without it turning into an argument we could relax those restrictions but as they can't, we have to restrict political discussion outside the news forum to keep the place half decently civil.
