Ex-pat Recruitment

Featured Replies

Hi all

Can anybody recommend any good head hunting companies for Asia that specializes in the recruitment of Ex-pats in Thailand?

Cheers

If you are looking for a real Headhunter, ie an executive search firm that will go out into the market place, source a number of names, interview them and try to sell them the opportunity you have, you would need someone like Korn Ferry or Heidrich & Struggles, both of whom operate in the Thai market, be advised your costs are likely to be up to 30% of the annualised salary.

If you are looking for an agency that will advertise and and shortlist your requirement, sending you 3 CV's your costs would be nearer 18% of the salary, both options would only initiate payment when the agency had been succesful and they should offer a 3 month gurantee.

You might get asked into doing a retained search where by they work out the price and ask for 30% up front and 30% on presentation of the shortlist and the remainder done on apointment, I would advise against this unless the agency involved has a history of placing people similar to the one you are looking for.

Please feel free to PM me if you want any advice.

If you're looking for Engineering related positions, Energy Skills Website is one resource that I use.
