The United States remained a net crude oil importer in 2022, importing about 6.28 million b/d of crude oil and exporting about 3.58 million b/d. Some of the crude oil that the U.S. imports is refined by U.S. refineries into petroleum products—such as gasoline, heating oil, diesel fuel, and jet fuel—that the U.S. later exports. Also, some of imported petroleum may be stored and later exported.

Got an actual cogent reason why this may have happened even if it's a single person and an isolated case? Assuming they aren't a complete nut job there has to be a rational motive.
I believe the seasonal variation in winds which come November time shift from the moist air from the Indian ocean to winds coming in from the North, mainly China.
Those winds trap pollutants in area's of higher building density (populated areas) due to temperature inversion.
Bangkok's factories continue their operations, emitting pollutants that get trapped in the stagnant air.
Farmers in surrounding regions burn crop residues during this period, adding to the smoky haze which due to wind direction has less opportunity to clear.
Truth hurts. It's ok I would be going through the stages of grief as well.
It must be eye opening to be so wrong about the political landscape. Most would learn from it but I am highly doubtful you will.
Stay forever blue.
