I had heard that Central Lad Prao was going to be closed for Renovation. Today I drove past Central World downtown and it looked like it was closed. Have they changed their renovations schedule or something it seems like the Lad Prao location is still open for business.

But seriously, Central Lad Prao was scheduled to be closed at the end of April, but they decided to delay the closing whilst Central World was "temporarily closed" during the demonstrations.

Ms. Bino was telling me today that since Central World is "permanently closed" that Central Lad Prao will keep operating until next year / after Central World is rebuilt.

We were told by an attendant at the PowerBuy there that it would remain open for the foreseeable future.  With the problems, the hordes of shoppers there on the first weeks of the pre-closing sale had disappeared and the stores still had lots of stock on hand.
