Krung Thai Bank To Be A "convenience Bank"

KTB's new organizational structure

BANGKOK: -- One of Thailand's state-run banks, KTB Public Co., Ltd., has completed its organizational restructuring, a move towards its goal to become a 'convenience bank' in the near future.

The KTB's new organizational structure, to be effective from 4 July onwards, was recently approved by the bank's board, according to the KTB's President, Aphisak Tantiwong.

Under the new organizational structure, the bank's departments and working units are grouped in according with their mandates and responsibilities to clearly facilitate their services offered to clients.

There is also a standardized 'back office' unit to be the support centre of all the bank's operational departments and units, according to the the bank's president.
