Hi all,

Have seen the royal varuna yact club at pratumnak,but its a club and u have to be a member to enter,is it for both thais and foreigners?

Somebody have any info about the club,cost etc..is it possible to have small Rib boat docked on the beach there if u are a member or only for sailboats?

Any info aprrechiated.

The Royal Varuna Yacht Club has a website just google it. They offer reciprocal privileges for some clubs are you a member of a yacht club? All membership costs etc are on their site.

I have been there once using my reciprocal privilege, it is very much a dinghy sailing club I couldnot find any dock close by for keel boats (which is what I race). But seemed like a well run club,clean and friendly. I myself may join soon. As far as the rib goes I am fairly certain they wouldnot allow you to beach it on their property.

Ocean Marina has facilities where you can keep your boat and they can launch it for you when you need it. Prices are quite modest.
