Sending Things To Thailand - Best Couriers Please

Featured Replies

Hi all :)

ive printed a load of A3 papersized photos to send to my girlfriend in Khon Kaen.

i have about 25 to send over and would prefer not to have them folded

i was wondering .....

1. what is the best method of sending them abroad ?

2. Will they delivery direct to her address or is it better to get them to collect from a post office ?

3. Will she have to pay a collection fee or can i cover all costs when sending ?

any help would be appriciated :D

thanx (kop khun krab tuk tuk khun) :D

Just put them in a reinforced envelope, and send them by registered post, i would have thought that would be cheaper than any courier company. Or if possible, put a CD in the post and have her print them here, which would also be alot cheaper. And yeah, just send them direct to her.

thnx for that , so you recommend just going to the post office basically :D heh well il compare prices - but if anyone knows a cheaper/faster/more reliable ( better) way of doing it .....let me know . :)

by sending via the post office do u know if they have a collection charge?/recievers fee?

thnx

Buy a ticket and deliver yourself.

Make sure there in a water proof bag and you will need something better than a envelope to stop them being folded.

can you scan them and email them to a shop that will print them?

No added fees. Although if you send direct to her, being A3 she may get a wee note that she'll have to take to the post office to collect the pics, but yes there' will be no fees or anything, just collect and go.

Get a poster tube not expensive and you roll the photos no folds. If you are in the UK send from post office and pay additional to postage about £3 - 4 for a signed delivery. takes anwhere from 5 - 10 days
