I just posted an ad in the classified section for motorcycles so after the bike has been sold how will I remove the ad?

You will get regular emails to show you the ads statistics etc and this also gives you the option to delete or extend it.

Thanks for the info. If a moderator knows of a quicker way that would be great as the bike has been sold already and removing the ad now will save a lot of disappointment from enthusiastic buyers.
