Meaning Of Thai Names

Featured Replies

Ever wonder what a Thai name meant? My understanding is that every formal Thai name must have a meaning. Here's a site that helps figure out the meaning (and also gives advice about the appropriateness/luckiness of the name)http://www.baanjomyut/taksa/index.html

It seems your link is missing the ".com"--easily rectified, but even after changing it I couldn't find the page about names... the link you give leads to a "page not found", and searching for instances of "ชื่อ" in the site index didn't turn up anything for me. Is the page still accessible for you?

Well, my last reply seems to have disappeared into cyberspace, so let's try again. the url is (divided into pieces to avoid thaivisa's editing "http://www" full stop (period in AE) "baanjomyut" full stop "com/taksa/index.html

Hope this works for everyone

I still get "ขออภัย ไม่สามารถเปิดหน้านี้ได้ อาจเกิดการผิดพลาดหรือข้อมูลสูญหาย หรือปิดให้บริการแล้ว".

Could be this link:
