Projectpaperclip
I've used up all my time on my Non O Multi from KL last year... just 35 days left till I must make another trip to KL or Penang.... I'm wondering If I can get a marriage extension of stay at this point or If I need to start fresh with a new Non O Multi? Thanks for any tips. Lite Beer
They usually like you to apply within the last 30 days.
Pushit
I believe Non Imm O Marriage extension requires 400K in your bank 60 days before application.
Lite Beer
I believe Non Imm O Marriage extension requires 400K in your bank 60 days before application. Correct. Or 40,000 Baht monthly income.
haveaniceday
Does this 40,000b income have to be working for a Thai Company, I mean working in Thailand, or can you just get a stat declaration from your embassy? I Have read that the 400k must be in a Thai bank account for 2 months prior.
Lite Beer
Income from either Thailand or abroad. If from abroad you need a letter from Your Embassy verifying the amount.

Projectpaperclip
Can anyone confirm or deny how much time needs to be remaining on my current Non O Multi Entry visa? 60 days and 30 days was mentioned. Just to clarify my actual my non o visa "enter before" date is May 2010 but my departure slip says I have till July 26th 2010 cause I reentered from Ranong 90 days earlier in April. Thanks for the calification! Clicking on some google ads now!
lopburi3
You must do before July 26th. Normal policy at most locations is during the last 30 days of your current permitted to stay period.
sarahsbloke
I will disagree with lopburi on this one and say I think the rules say go to immigtation and apply during the last 30 days of your existing Visa. I believe you can goto immigration at any time for a marriage extension and you will be given a 30 day 'under consideration' stamp.
Projectpaperclip
I'll check with them today and report back with my findings. Thanks!
Mario2008
It is during the last 30 days of your permission to stay, not the visa. But for the marriage extension it is always wise to call them first, as the requirements what documents they will want varies a bit from place to place. Projectpaperclip
fyi: Phuket immigration said I just need to come in before my current extension is finished. The visa itself is already finished.
