tudor
Greetings all. Wonder if someone could provide some info on how long it takes for a buyer of a property to receive the chanote once the loan is paid off. Whats happening is that we are going to pay off the mortgage balance (to the bank) of a house we are getting. After paying the bank, the chanote will be changed to reflect my wife as owner. Does anyone have any experience with how long it takes for the new chanote? Also, we will be transferring money from our Bankok Bank account to our other bank account at the Thai bank that holds the mortgage. Once we make the transfer to our account at the bank that holds the mortgage, is there any hold or limit on using the funds to pay off the mortgage? It is a passbook savings account. I just dont want to run into any problems and would like to hear from others who have been thru this before. Any potential complications to watch out for? Thank you.
