Visa Extension Not At Normal Immigration Office

Featured Replies

Hi,

I normally do my 12 month extension of my non o immigrant visa at Korat. At this time however I will most likely be in Pattaya to attend to some business interests, I am aware I can do extension 30? days prior to due date.

My 90 day report is also due on the same day.

Prior to leaving I can obtain my bank letter re 800k in bank. And can obtain a letter(hotel receipt) to prove my current address.

My question is can I do my extension in Jomtien or do I have to make it back to Korat prior to due date?

Any expert replies are most greatfully received.

You can only do it in Korat, same goes for the 90 day report. But that can be done by mail.

As you said, you can apply 30 days early. If there is a need, they will often allow it even earlier. The extension always starts on the day tour current permission ends, so you won't lose any days.
