Brand Strategists Wanted

Bangkok-based brand strategy and integrated communications agency now recruiting experienced brand strategists. Permanent and/or project basis available - dependent on your skill sets and our project needs.

Keen employs a cultural model for branding. We conceive of brands as unique cultures, each with their own politics, rituals, language and ways of using space. The Strategy Team is responsible for:

• Identifying the key assets of each new or existing brand – whether these are HR strengths, signature architectural elements, values, consumer perceptions, etc.
• Surveying and summarizing the competitive landscape and motivations of the target audience
• Marrying these two points above into a concise strategic platform, the unique niche the brand will occupy

We employ a range of creative methodologies adapted from both cultural research and market research. The Brand Strategist, reporting to the Strategy Director, will conduct (and, in selected cases, commission) research and analysis and develop a strategic platform for each client.

The ideal candidate:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, communications, anthropology, sociology or related field

- 2+ years experience with qualitative and quantitative market research

- Self-motivated and independent

- Analytical mind

- Able to work individually and in teams

- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong written and oral presentation skills

- Fluent English ability

- Experience with hospitality clients a plus

- Thai (permanent position and/or project basis) or expatriate (project basis only)
