Meeting People

Featured Replies

I'm a western Canadian woman who moved to BKK a little over a week ago. I live in Salaya. Anyhow, I don't speak Thai yet, but I'm working here. Eventually I'd like to get involved in my community here, but until then, I still want to meet people. I'm teaching at a university, not at an English school, so my options for meeting Farangs are limited. Are there associations I can join? Groups of like minded people for movies or hiking trips, or things like that? I'm not sure where to start, so I'm starting here! Any help would be appreciated.

Bangkok womens network (BNOW ?-- i think) farang girls in bangkok on facebook and chickynet bangkok are all online/meet up kinds of things worth checking out.
