bdenner
IMO the International Beer House restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 21 served some of the best steak and sausage meals I have eaten in Thailand and had their own German bakery. The Friday night pig roasts were in a class of their own. The restaurant, owned/run German guy, was extremely popular. Does anyone know if he opened another in town? Can anyone recommend good steak houses in that area. When in town I usually stay at the ‘Tai-Pan Hotel’ (only because the company I worked for used it as a staging post and I guess it’s OK (***1/2) --- Soi Cowboy ). Simpleton
How about Neil's Tavern, more or less across from where the beer house used to be.
Axel
You can find the place as OLD GERMAN BEERHOUSE at Sukhimvit Soi 11, No. 11. That's opposite of the main entrance to Grand President. Frank and his staff are there. BTW it was Soi 23, not 21.

Thumbs up all round (also "unofficial" free parking at the Grand Pres parkade- just don't tell anyone;)
