Suspend A Company In Thailand

Featured Replies

We made a company in Thailand for work permit purpose. Now we moved back but still want to keep the company in Thailand - just in case we want to go back to Thailand.

Is it possible to suspend the company existence without having to keep paying tax or submitting tax?

I am involved in a company in thailand , I would seek legal advice and relievant government department advise,(using your thai partner here) instead of using hearsay.

Yes, Chainarong is correct: Get legal advice!

It is possible to suspend a Co.Ltd. if there has been no trading activity for a certain period of time and all board members agree, evidenced by a meeting report.

Contact the Ministry of Commerce in BKK about how to do it.

Once the Ministry of Commerce has approved the suspension you will also have to notify the Revenue department and the Soacial security office of this fact!

You can not renew a Workpermit under a suspended company!

Thank you you both :)

I've actually asked my lawyer and accountant but they insisted that there's no way to put the company on whole without submitting PP30 every month or mid year and year end tax return.
