Vertical Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 We are opening a money exchange soon in Thailand. My thoughts are about security and safety for staff and money. I would like to brainstorm of: -how to secure it the best against an attack or robbery -keep money and staff safe e.g. Cameras around the building with high resolution - A camera at or above window where money exchannge takes place. Please, if you have any 'constructive' idea, I would very much welcome it. I do not find anything about it on internet. I not mean to find shops who sell cameras but in general, how to protect the business from threats. Thank you V
SunbeltAsiaExpert Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 There's no 100% way to safeguard every business. We can only try to prevent unfortunate events that may occur during the course of our business. In regards to your situation, we recommend installing a high resolution surveillance camera that works 24 hours in which you can record on a software. There are numerous security service providers in Bangkok that you can engage with for security professionals, security officers and a times, fire emergency specialists. As for safeguarding the money, we strongly recommend installing a secured vault in which only your most trusted employees or yourself know the key and the code. Security cameras will not be able to prevent attacks and robberies 100%, but they will assist to deter possible attacks and robberies and also the recording from the cameras can be used as evidence. If the most unfortunate events should happen despite the precautions above, it helps immensely if your firm has procured some insurance premiums.
