the last couple of days my cable has had so much static it is impossible to watch during the day, at night it seems to clear and then in the morning it is back to snow, has anyone else had this exp? if it is just me i am wondering if someone may have tapped in down the line......

Samui cable is absolute garbage anyway. Better off getting UBC whatever the additional cost. The new "D" movie channel sums it up. Can't understand why anybody would waste 450 baht on such a dreadful service.

there was a time when i had the gold package with ubc for about 8 yrs but imo it was a true waste of money as the silver pkg was able to get channels the more exp gold was not hence the platinum pkg was the only next option hence samui cable and dvds was my solution which i was quite happy with until the recent change but int the last few weeks they replaced one of the d channels with a series channel that provides programs such as law and order, house, office, and some other humor programs along with the golf channel, fox, bbc, voa, 2 sport channels i have been able to watch the world cup, F1, and wimbelton so for the money it is a far better value then ubc which i will never get again.

just a quick update, the cable company came out walked the line and sure enough one of the neighbors had spliced in, problem corrected btw i failed to mention al jazier, the french and italian chanels and 2 cartoon networks for the kids so honestly i will this cable line up against ubc any day of the week.
