Phuket Airport Transportation

Featured Replies

What's the best way to get from Phuket Airport to Kata Beach area and how much can one expect to pay? I read one place that said a meter taxi would run about 650b. Seems a bit high. How about the Airport Limousine service?

Hi

650 Baht from phuket airport to Katabeach is quite a good fare, most hotel taxi's charge in the range of 800 Baht. - the journey from the airport will take approx 40 minutes to Kata Beach

The limousine service is the same price approx 800 - 1000 Baht

best wishes

Meter taxi should be less than 500. It's about 400 to Patong.

I was 450 to patong at the end of last month with meter taxi. kata's a good bit further so I'd say about 600 would be fair.

Limousine service (Toyata Camry most of the time) is 700 Baht these days. meter taxi will normally be around 500-550 Baht, including the airport surcharge.

You are correct though, most hotels will charge from 800 baht upwards.
