syd barrett
I have been here in the LOS for a while now and have many VCD and DVD movies in English language, with Thai subtitles. I always watch them with my Thai GF who has a perculiar taste in movies..... I thought she would like comedies....Groundhog Day, Dumb and Dumber , You've Got Mail, or slapstic stuff.....but her top three favourite movies are... 1. Papillon 2. Fargo 3. Scanners I don't know why, but she identifies with a chosen character intensely, and becomes that person and lives, throughout the movie vicariously in his/her shoes. It is a strange phenomena....have any fellow TV contributors noticed this? What is the Thai 'psyche' whilst watching movies?

tuky
my wife likes Titanic the best, she says she does not have a number two. Although I must admit she always asks me why I like movies that are talking only. She does not understand why I am not keen to buy "anaconda" style movies. Other than Titanic she will only get into movies that have big animals killing people. After watching one of these flicks she can never sleep
TokyoT
Movies – American Pie (I, II, and III), anything with ghosts, Jack*ss the movie (I), As Good as it Gets, You’ve Got Mail. She has watched The Ring about a million times. Best purchase I ever made were some Mr. Bean DVD’s, and Tom & Jerry cartoon DVD's.
