Has anybody had a BKK travel agent make a visa for Vietnam?

Going in two weeks with no time to go to the embassy.

There is an on-line service, look at the embassy website. Understant it works quite well.

I am in Vietnam now and got a Visa on Arrival but needed an approval letter.Cost on arrival 25 US.<br>A friend gets his at the embassy in BKK,picks up the next day.<br>Go with Scorecards advice and get it online in your case,seems straightforward enough,I think its 50 US.<br>

You need the letter from VN Immigration in your hand BEFORE getting on the plane to your destination in Veitnam where you submit the letter along with your application for the 'visa on arrival'.

You can get instant visa when arriving at Hanoi price is around $21,- USD if I remember right. Another option is the Vietnamese Embassy but then you have to send your passport to them.
