Do I Need To Apply Visa?

Featured Replies

hi, i appreciate if anyone can help me..

I'm Malaysian, do I need to apply visa prior to enter Phuket or Bangkok?

I'm confusing, as Malaysia is not in the list of Passport holders who can enter Thailand without visa.

But it is under the Tourist Visa Exemption. So do i have to apply visa??

You don't need a visa. You can enter easily. It is given free when you go through immigration at the airport.

No visa required. As Malaysian, you will get an entry stamp of 30 days (entering by air) and 15 days (entering by land borders)

I believe Malaysians gets a 30 day entry regardless of entry method coming from Malaysia. For a longer stay you could obtain a tourist visa prior to travel.

Yes. 30 days by land if entering from Malaysia.

I believe since Malaysia is part of ASEAN, that this applies. Malaysians get 30 days regardless of entry method.

Only if entering from Malaysia. 15 Day Entry.pdf

As for Malaysian national entering through the border gate connected with the Malaysian Border

will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom for no longer than 30 days per stay.”
