Rama
I'm suddenly unable to log into either of my international hotmail or yahoo mail accounts. The webpage hangs while loading. All other international webpages no problem. What are the Thai internet censors up to? Any one else experiencing similar problems?
phpbangkok
its a country wide https block since today, confirmed on 3bb/maxnet premier at different locations not much what you can do about it at the moment following will help in long run: - check if any other website with https:// at beginning works ( like https://mail.google.com ) - if they dont, call your internet provider and report the issue - be polite but demand a solution and ask them to follow up and notify you - if its not fixed within 1 h or nobody has informed you, call again and report it again Edited July 28, 2010 by phpbangkok
Rama
Who is making these decisions at Maxnet???????? I find it hard to believe a tech savey person would make a decision like this. I run my business email account through my Yahoo account so I can access internationally. Now I can't run my business? Tell all the international business people and international tourists they can't do email while in Thailand. Welcome to the LOS. This will help tourism and international business tremendously.................Single handedly close Thailand to the world...........
dsfbrit
Yes - same with me using 3BB - all Https sites blocked/not working.
phpbangkok
Plaese be so kind and report it to maxnet. It seems if they dont hear people reporting it they dont think its an issue. Apparently today some technician was already playing around with the maxnet servers, many users were suddenly facing a error page from maxnet no matter which website they viewed. And now the https issue. Same as it affects you it affects also our business which is internet based, so the situation is not acceptable and needs to be solved. Im wondering if its also happening with other providers as well? Edited July 28, 2010 by phpbangkok
Rama
I've reported it through my Thai secretary, who no doubt was polite. They are supposed to call back.

phpbangkok
I've reported it through my Thai secretary, who no doubt was polite. They are supposed to call back. hehe very polite solution Generally I understand that we shouldnt be upset and angry on the phone, but to be honest when I see the secretary of our neighbor company calling maxnet on the phone and letting them tell her bullshit then I prefer to be direct and demand a improvement by calling myself. phpbangkok
apparently just premier is/was affected (so much about paying more for a premier service) slowly the https is getting better.. sometimes slow , but that could also be the international connection issue (dropped speed to 1/3)
