Problems With My New Blackberry 9700

Hi,

I recently bought the new Blackberry Bold 9700 from MBK. It is a "T-Mobile" version. It has a problem where (at least once a day) it turns itself off without any warning. The only way to turn it back on is to take the battery out and reboot it. I took it back to the shop where I bought it and they took it away for a couple of hours and said it was fixed, but the problem still exists.

Does anyone know the cause of this problem and how to fix it?

Am I able to send it back to Blackberry to get it fixed? (baring in mind that I did not buy the AIS Thailand version) If so how and where can this be done?

Thanks.

I would demand a replacement from the shop if I had it less than 15-30 days...

Do not give up and don't pay for anyone else to fix it.

Let the shop know you will post them problems you have had with their after sales on all Foreign websites as well as in local foreign newspapers should they not honor the exchange.

I know others on here will say "Do not bother,it will not work anyway", but disregard these guys as I have in fact went through the same problems with a couple of major purchases and once I demanded an exchange or refund and threatened to do the above I got a replacement "Brand New". On one occasion I actually posted on a web board about the issue I was having on a product and the supplier actually had someone come pick up my broken one from my home and delivered a new one with some additional freebies but just ask that I would place on the same web board it was all a misunderstanding and that in fact the company had a great after sales service, of which I complied....

It worked for me, so good luck.. One item was a 4x4 winch which I had for over 6 months but once I used it i had major problems, the other was a BB from a major carrier here in Thailand. :D

never ever ever buy from MBK, unless it's a cracked software CD or porno movies. If you want to buy a Blackberry, get it from DTAC or AIS directly. I bought a BB Bold 9000 a year and a half ago from AIS in Siam Paragorn and it has given me 0 problems. I have since upgraded to OS 5. Perfect phone. You never know where that shit at MBK comes from. They are all lying bastards. That could be a Thai/chinese copy whatever, You never know with MBK.
