Australian Tourist Visa Refused

Featured Replies

A few weeks ago I posted about my wife’s long time friend being refused a tourist visa to visit my wife and I in Australia.

http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/381597-australian-tourist-visa/page__view__findpost__p__3735834

I contacted Bridge and he helped us prepare a fresh application addressing many issues that we didn’t even consider in the first one. Today my wife’s friend was granted a tourist visa. We are very happy.

I found Bridge to be professional, courteous and offered a great service. Thanks for your help Bridge.

Carpy

Well done Bridge offer an excellent professional service.

Thank you Carpy for the kind words. That's great news that she got the visa 2nd time around.

Many tourist visa applications are refused because the applicant fails to satisfy the DIAC decision-maker that they satisfy the primary criteria at the time of application (Clause 676.21 Migration Regulations 1994). Usually they are refused because the applicant fails to satisfy Clause 676.211 which provides that ‘the applicant satisfies the Minister that the applicants expressed intention to only visit Australia is genuine’.

For what it’s worth I don’t think (in many cases anyway) that the Form 48R alone allows for the provision of ALL relevant information to allow the DIAC decision-maker the opportunity to make a decision based on all the subclass 676 criteria. With regards to your wife’s friends application we made sure we addressed ALL of the criteria pursuant to subclass 676 of the Migration Regulations and we got the right result – visa granted

Hope she enjoys Australia – tell her take a jumper and keep warm.

Regards

Bridge

I just wanted to add that Bridge Migration are exactly what Carpy stated. My wife has recently received her partner visa for Australia and without the help from Bridge, the process would have taken a lot longer and maybe not the happy outcome which we received. Bridge is definitely a stand up and honest consultant who is genuinely there to help you.

My thanks as well Bridge,

KJ
