Air Asia offered good promotions for flights Bkk Bali. But I don't see them any more. Anyone has been to Bali recently and share information on the cheapest flights.

Thank you. RP

A few months back I was looking for friends and family and had seen a good deal to Bali on Air Asia. I tried booking but the site kept going down. Out of curiosity I called Thai Airways and was surprised and was able to get a similar fare to the Air Asia flight. Don't check their Thai Airways flights on the net but call them direct. You may be surprised as to what they have to offer. Seat assignments, baggage, meals and good flight times. Thai airways leaves 8am v Air Asia at 6am

We went in May. At the time Air Asia was chepaest, with Thai almost twice the price. Good idea to ask Thai direct as their web prices always seem way too high for me. It's the reverse though with Air Asia - it's always cheaper to book on their website than visit the office.

went Thai Airways last week: 14,700 return all in via the company that sponsors this forum.

was looking at Air Asia for a while and the cheapest I saw was 8K return but I didn't decide to book until a week before it was time to go and it had shot up to 12K so I decided on TG because of the 840 departure from BKK and the 1620 departure from Denpasar on the return. Also the TG 777s have seat back TVs to pass away the 4 hours.

We are flying to Bali with Air Asia in a few days time, we paid 800 Baht each, all in, though we did book during one of their offers in November last year.

It's a case of signing up for their Red Alerts offers, hitting the computer as soon as the offers go on sale and of course being flexible and brave with you future travel plans.

We are going to Krabi in September for 260 Baht and this morning we booked to fly to Seoul for 2,500 Baht, though we have to get to KL first.

Was that Bali for 800 as in eight hundred baht? If so holy cow, I will be looking out for their next offer as that is so cheap its almost ridiculous.

Yep. 800 Baht total, that was 0 Baht for the ticket, 700 Baht Tax and 100 Baht for using a Credit Card to book, don't think there is any other way to book online.

I agree a pretty amazing offer and it's the second time we have managed it, we also went last November for same price.

You will have to pay additional at least 200 B for a 15 KG bag each way if you need that.

Or we could do what we did last year and carry 7kg each in the cabin for free.

PS - Not sure why you changed my name on the quote?

Old fella, I assume he changed your name because anyone who can get from BKK to Bali for 800 Baht is surely a guru. I'm sticking close to you now buddy. Good on ya. :-)
