Some hospitals in Pattaya have discount cards. I suppose it encourages loyalty.

Usually pay 1 or 2 thousand B and get a free physical and 10% off rooms, procedures, and drugs.

Does Bumrungrad or any of the big private farang hospitals have discount mechanisms?

Yes, Samitivej and the Bangkok Hospital Group have a membership program with three different tiers.

Yes we do, it is called the Health Living Club Card.

The card is available to residents of Thailand only (both foreign and Thai), and must be purchased at least 7 days before any procedure which may be affected by the card's pricing.

I have a Bumrungrad card and it was very useful when I required surgery and an unanticipated overnight stay last year.
