Taxi Fare From Saladaeng & On Nut To Airport

Featured Replies

Anyone know roughly the fare and time difference between these 2 places to the Su Airport during non-peak hours ?

maybe 70-80 Baht less from On Nut.

From Sala Daeng, Taxi would most probably ask u to use the Tollway from Rama4. which would cost you an extra 60-70 Baht tollway-fees.

from On Nut, no tolls to be paid, going down Sukhumvit, then Bangna-Trat road. not much of a difference in travelling time, using the tollway outside rush-hours is usually a straight-forward thing.

if you are on a budget, then take the BTS to On Nut (I assume that was your plan) and then the public Bus 552 ? 553 ? 554 ? which costs 35 Baht and runs approx. every 20 minutes or so

Bus no. 552 ends up in the public transportation center. You have to take a shuttle bus to reach the terminal.

Runs every 30 min.

If you don't have much luggage I would recommend to take a van from Onnut.

Stop is right under the BTS station (Bus stop Bang Na direction). Every 10 min for 25 Baht. Trip time: 45-60 min

Drop-off: ground floor airport terminal.

Taxi from Onnut via expressway entry Soi 50 = price 195 Baht plus 55 for the tollways.

Time 20-25 min even during rush hour

When I lived in Saithip (Sukhumvit - Soi 58) I traveled many, many times to the airport, paid always between TB 190 en TB 200

Sukhumvit - Bangna - airport so no express way / no toll

Cheers,

M.

Marginally more than Nana where I usually travel from, so approaching B400 including tolls at a guess. If it's particularly early in the morning, 2.00 am to about 5.00 and the driver takes you on the Sukhumvit Soi 21 (Asoke) entry to the freeway, it could be a hundred less.

F4U, both members have given you good info and also on bus and van options.

We are all assuming that you are on a budget and looking to take the BTS and then a taxi. However, there are a wealth of bus, van and train (currently free but limited operations) options to the airport.

However, if you could be more detailed about where you reside. time of travel & why your asking this question (maybe the budget assumption is wrong) you'll obtain more specific and helpful responses.
