Extension Of Visa

Okay, I have a three month single entry Non-B visa. The first question is, am I able to extend it for any amount of time at an immigration office, and if so, how much will it cost? The second inquiry is to do with the closure of the immigration offices/embassies. My visa expires on the 10th, and I was going to go to KL to renew, but I want to know if they will be closed, and if so for how many days. Does anybody have this info?

Extension is for 1 week or for 1 year. For the last you need to qualify to certain rules.

KL will be closed from 12th till 16th, so you will need to go to KL on the 10th and recieve your new visa on the 11th. A new non-B in KL will be issuead if you meet the criteria, depending on what why you want a non-B (job or conducting business). In both cases you wil need company papers.
