Flights From Bkk To London Heathrow

Featured Replies

I have a return flight booked to the London Heathrow next Maywith Kingfisher, I have noticed that airfares booked in the LHR-BKK-LHR are significantly cheaper than trying to book BKK-LHR-BKK and I dont seem to be able to find a flight online BKK-LHR-BKK, If I look at flights on line in Thailand they are far more expensive which puts me off just getting a single and renewing my multi entry visa (O) in Laos. Does anyone else experience the same problems? Maybe there is a better website to look at? Any input would be useful. At the UK end I used cheapticket.co.uk and sta travel.co.uk who came up with return flights of 405 sterling and 508 sterling with Kingfisher and Jet respectively. The dates I used for comparison was 1/10/10 and 1/3/11. The best flight from the BKK=LHR+BKK I found was with Kingfisher but 32000 bahts.

Flights are always more expensive starting from BKK.

Try Mox Travel or MTT Travel.

I usually find going direct to the airline is better, Qatar are 29k baht at present, if you dont mind the short stop in Doha. (35 min)

BKK - LHR - BKK

Flights from BKK-LHR have been almost the same price for over 5 years approx 30,000 Baht, sometimes a little cheaper with Sri Lanka etc or more expensive with BA, Thai direct flights. The only increase has been the UK airport tax. The reason they cost more is the devaluation in Sterling from 75 Baht -47 Baht...If you live, work in Thailand and get paid in Baht you have not been affected, if however you are booking on a UK credit card of course you will pay more but not due to increases in flights, just Mervyn King and Gordon Browns bad handling of the economy.

BA & TG do a ticket at around 25k at certain times of the year, when researching trips back to London this year via the airlines websites booking a return trip starting from London was about 5,000 baht cheaper with both airlines
