Anyone have Personal Accident Insurance coverage with AIA ?

I recently signed up my wife and myself and to my surprise, I was told "American's are not accepted". I subsequently sent emails and called the home office in Bangkok and the agent I spoke to couldn't give me an answer but said someone would call me back, and guess what...no return call or replies to my email....Doesn't AIA stand for American Insurance Association?

In addition, I recently read that AIA Thailand has 85 Billion Baht in assets....

I'm an Australian and I have AIA Personal Accident Insurance.

I got refused insurance (that I didn't want anyway - but its a long story) for being a foreigner. - From Kasikorn Bank. :rolleyes:
