TheWalkingMan
Dang JT, you seem to see/go to all the restaurants around town. I checked out that Brew & something place on Soi Excyte a couple of weeks back or so and it was pretty good. There was a chap there wearing white calf length socks and I thought... "Hmmm, I wonder if that is the restaurant connoisseur JT." Anyway, thanks for the tips. TheWalkingMan
Jingthing
It's on the east side of the road (right) going down the hill towards the direction of Jomtien. You can't miss it, it's all painted up fancy-like. White socks? If it pleases you to think so. Remaining incognito is a good thing, compare to Glitterman. BTW, don't forget FREE COKE! That's from the restaurant, not me. Edited August 21, 2010 by Jingthing
MZurf
So this would be on Thappraya road before you get to Pan-Pan restaurant? Judging by the name this would be a seafood restaurant?

Jingthing
On this map, on Tappraya Road somewhere between Soi 5 and Pattaya 3rd, east side (not beach side). They have a big sign, can't miss it. Anyway, based on what they did to their building, there is some money behind this new restaurant effort. Hoping they hired some good cooks too. I know its kind of weird but let's face it, most of the Thai restaurants in town aren't that great as this is a tourist trap town. Jingthing
pattaya-jomtien road You want me to use the proper names of roads, you'll have to pay me better, chickadee ... MZurf
Went there a couple of nights ago. This is exclusively a fish restaurant. No sea food, chicken, pork etc. Only fish in all kinds of dishes from the BBQ whole fish to somtam with fish. Tried several dishes and it was all good, and all dishes are very reasonably priced. They have a special with two whole pla sawan baked in salt and BBQed for 250 Baht. Very friendly staff.
Basil B
Presume it is up the hill from Captains Corner on the same side? P.S. JT are you a shareholder or on commission?

When did you stop beating your wife? P.S. -- I've not been there yet. It always look empty when I pass and I don't like empty restaurants. They must be hurting. A shame if they are good.
