Residence Certificate On Final Extension With Non-Imm O

Hi,

I am on my final extension of my current Non-Imm 'O' visa (ie. the visa end date is back in July but I can stay until October)

Is it possible for me to get a residence certificate from immigration to buy a motorcycle or do I have to be within the actual dates of my visa stamp?

It appears you are on 90 day visa entry so not doing address reporting to Immigration which seems to be a requirement now for such papers.

You should be able to obtain from your Embassy however; but have no knowledge of motorcycle purchase requirements - you might find information in that forum.

I have applied for such certificates many times before for buying cars, motorbikes and opening bank accounts. A non-Imm 'O' is fine for this, you don't need to be doing address reporting, but I have never done it outside the dates of my visa stamp.

It is a problem from most recent reports if you are not doing address reporting.

Your visa date should not have anything to do with it as that only applies to entry into Thailand - you are on a permitted to stay stamp now (not the visa).

The last certificate I applied for and received was 14th July without any issues. I simply presented the rental agreement for my condo, relevant copies of my passport pages and 2 photos.

Unless things have changed within the last month?
