O Visa Application

HELP PLEASE

Dear Forum Members,

After a frustrating week of trying to find out how I could extend my stay in Thailand. And after looking at all sorts of options such as ED visas etc. I dawned on me.. Why can't I get another "O" visa for 60 or 90 days.

I am assuming that a flight to Singapore or K.L or maybe Penang might be needed, but is it possible to go to one of these locations for 2 days and apply for another "O" visa. I have a current 90 day "O" visa that I paid for in Melbourne (Aust) and it expires mid next week.

Longer term I might head back to Aust, or I may look at an "ED" visa or even a Business "B" visa..

Is there any policy in place that might prevent me from getting another "O" visa for 60 or 90 days until I determine my next move?

This is rather urgent, so if anyone has any experience in these matters, I would love to hear from you.

Many Thanks in Advance

James

You have not indicated any qualification for an O visa to be issued in your posts. Without Thai wife/child expect a tourist visa is all that you would be able to obtain. That will provide a 60 day stay and extension of 30 days and two entry are available from Vientiane.
