Open word > help (3rd from bottom)>options (2nd from bottom)> language (5th from top) In first box click Thai phrase w/ U.S. in brackets (high-lighting it)

then to the right of that large box click the second box (sets English as default)>OK.> close> and restart word

For Windows 7, there are languages packages in optional update. Just choose the language you want and install it. switch to the language you want after re-boot.

For MS office, since I don't know your version, you can just search on the Internet then download and install it. Change the language in Microsoft Office Tools after you've install the package.

I have Microsoft office 2007 and still can't change it - where do I find 'Microsoft Office Tools '?

I've been to the contro; panel and removed Thai language.

Actually, uninstall the Thai version and install the English version is easier than install the language pack. However, if you don't have a disc of English version to install, it is the only option for you to install the language pack.

Unfortunately you need to pay for it. Here is the link to purchase:

Otherwise, you can try to search the websites offering the language pack to download.

Below is one of the links, but I'm sure it will be invalid soon because rapiddigger and MS have strong relations.

After installing the language pack, click "Start"-"Programs"-"MS Office"- 'Microsoft Office Tools", then you can see the option to change the language.

Good luck.
