roc634
I'm been to Kanchanaburi some several months ago. A dinner yesterday reminded me of the fish in that city. This is kind of fish is really tasty and I noticed that it appears many places in that city. Does somebody here know the name of the kind of fish? Here is the picture of the fish I saw in Kanchanaburi.
Krungbin
These are respectively Lamppost and Fountain Goldfish. Although they can be found all over the country, they are not specifically Thai species. As for the Fugu, special skills are required to prepare and cook them. Indeed, if the metal like skin is not properly removed, your dentition - in particular - and your digestive system may suffer severe damages... roc634
Thanks, Krungbin. They are surely Lamppost and Fountain Goldfish, but they do look alike. Are they the same kind of fish? They looks really like the fish that I had that day. By the way, I don't think they are Fugu. I've heard a lot about them. The lethal thing is its internal organs rather than its skin.
