Water Pump

Greetings all. Here is my problem. I have a water capture tank under the car port. This room has 2 water pumps that feed the house below. The pumps are the ones with the pressure tanks on the top of them. They are Mitsubishi superpumps. One of them has gone wrong. I'm told it is beyond repair. They cost around 18,000 baht to replace. My question is do I actually need the same type of design of pump or can I replace it with one of the Mitsubishi automatic water pumps without the pressure tanks ? There is a difference in price of 10,000 baht.

Im told as the house is below the pump this should be OK but don't want to go and buy one that will not do the job Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Dunc
