Hi. Could anyone recommend where one can get a massage/foot massge in Patong at a good price without feeling uncomfortable. I have also heard stories of establishments where girls are treated less than well. I don't fancy those establishments that have packs of girls waiting on the sidewalk ready to pounce as soon as you get within striking distance.

Go to a proper spa instead of a massage shop.

Just walk around it will be obvious. Some offer "extras", some don't, and some specialize in it, and are essentially brothels. Well, at least based on the offers I get walking by them. No 1st hand knowledge, so to speak.

If all the massages are given out in the open, chances are there is no "funny business" whatever that means.

I can recommend from many real thai and oil massages i've had in the downstairs of Christin Massage in Patong.

Foot massage in the front and real massage on clean, white sheets on proper elevated massage tables ,with face hole.

Thats my place of choice for a proper massage

Not down on the floor on unclean matresses covered in who knows what!

PS also i've seen that the ladies are treated quite well here...they don't have to stand outside in the weather and sqawk ''hello hansum man'' etc to get custom.

They all sit inside aircond room with tv and music and can nap whenever they like...hel_l of a job IMO [ massaging hot sweaty fat guys ] but this place seems to treat the ladies a lot better than most

if you can get out of patong, i can recomand my therapist. 5mins from patong hill , near tesco.

spa trained, spa equipement. 180baht for the hour.. Advanced english, so no unconfortable "where you work, where you go, where you stay"

Try the folks near to the Thara Patong on Beach road. Right at the mini mart! No lin ling there!
