Italian Woman Attack by Armed Intruder in her Pattaya Home

An Italian woman was been assaulted in her Pattaya residence on Monday morning. The offender had broken into the house off Sukhumvit Road, but fled the scene empty handed when confronted by the surprised woman.

Pattaya, the 27th of September 2010 [PDN]: At approximately 2:00am on Monday, Major-General Suparerk Yooprai (Pattaya Inspector) was notified of an assault and attempted robbery at a house at the Green Residence, Soi Sukhumvit 54. A team of officers along with rescue personnel were dispatched to the incident to investigate.

At the scene, a large two-storey house, officers found 58-year-old Mrs. Nikitina Galina and her husband and son waiting for assistance at the front of the residence. Mrs. Galina was suffering from a small laceration to the head and was rendered immediate first aid by rescue personnel.

Italian woman assaulted in her Jomtien Home during robbery attempt

PATTAYA: -- An Italian resident of Pattaya was assaulted in her own house after she caught a Thai Man attempting to break-into her house. The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday Morning and was investigated by Pattaya Police who was called to the house at the Green Residence located in Soi 5 off the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien. Mrs. Christina Carzina aged 58, who lives with her Husband and son, was awoken by noises coming from the grounds floor of her two-storey house

What does it matter? Knocking down a 58 yro old woman is weired enough.

This area is well know for break ins, I experienced it myself when renting a house there. I would never live in that area, as long as the place will not be under control of the law. Hope the woman will recover soon.

What does it matter? Well, maybe nothing, except if the name is wrong, then maybe the nationality is wrong, and maybe a lot more things are wrong, so whats the point in printing a story if the facts are wrong. Just wonder how many other stories are wrong, since there is usually no follow up.
