Police Record Check, In Thailand?

My Thai girlfriend will need a police record check. Can she get this from her home town police station?

hi, anyone know how long police checks take to be sent to you, from BKK. i have done some googling. i believe a police check is now called a police clearance certificate, and can be obtained from here; i also read it can take up to 40 days to be posted? is that right

( she has a drink drive conviction ). i see on gotlost link - 7 days withj no conviction

my gf just phoned them, can take as little as 2 weeks to get back

They can be picked up from the Office after 2 weeks

They can also be mailed to a home address or to an Embassy

Around 10 days was the waiting time some 4 months ago but best go in person.
