Thai'S On Pattaya Forum

Featured Replies

I think it would be interesting to have the opinion of some Thai people on this forum. Are farangs so off base with our ideas, what do Thai think of all of our complaining. I dont mean the TGF's of our members, but actual Thai's that arent married to a farang. Another thought is, that when we sit around with our friends, discussing all the crap that goes on here, what do the Thai think about these subjects, and what do they think about our constant complaining, and the fact that sometimes we dont even realize that there are Thai serving us, or sitting at the next table, that understand what we are bitching about.

Nothing really wrong with complaining, thats how things get changed, and ideas develop, but maybe the Thai dont quite think like we do. What do they think about the traffic, politics, police, and Baht Bus drivers!! hahahaha

I know some local Thai's that have far stronger opinions about the highlighted issues than i have ever seen foriegners post here, some of my Thai friends have really really and i mean "not allowed to post" really wild things to say about all of the above emotive subjects!!

Ditto that one.

I was talking to a Thai friend today, and she and her husband had just been burgled for the third time this year. I started offering to set up a motion detector alarm etc. She just said "No - better my friend give me a gun!"

She was serious - and already organised. I am going to phone before I visit next time!
