Hi,

I went back to Rutnin eye hospital where they did a test for tear production. It seems my eyes only produce 40% of the tears they are supposed to.A friendly doctor there gave me lubricating drops which have made my eyes less painful. Its early days yet but they have improved slightly and when I go back he will see if I need to have the drainage duct 'plugged.'I also suffer from allergic conjunctivitus,so as you can imagine some days have been unbearable over here.

Thanks for all those who gave me advice and help.I'll let you know of any more developments.Cheers.
