Hi,

Just wondering if someone can help. I have a friend who is living in USA with her partner (American national) and their 3 children. She is a friend i have known for many years, and wants to come and visit the uk. Does any one know if this is possible.

She had a new green card issued earlier this year, and have been back in the states the last 3 years. I believe the Green card is valid for 10 years.

Does anyone know if this trip would be possible and if so how and where would i go about getting it arranged?

The Thai national requires a visa to visit the UK. The fact that she holds a US Green Card makes no difference.

She can apply for a UK in the USA, and I can't see any problem with a visa being issued

So you would just apply for a normal tourist visa via the uk embassy?

Yes. Apply at the nearest Embassy or Consulate in the USA. She can do so as she is resident in the USA.
