News_Editor
Four wounded in Israeli air strikes on Gaza 2010-10-07 21:05:01 GMT+7 (ICT) JERUSALEM (BNO NEWS) -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Thursday confirmed an overnight air strike on two "terror targets" in the northern Gaza Strip in response to the firing of a rocket from the Gaza Strip. Four people were reportedly injured during the Israeli Air Force strikes. One of the rockets reportedly hit a training camp. The recent Hamas rocket that was fired from Gaza landed in Eshkol Regional Council, the IDF said, claiming that over 160 rockets and mortars have been fired at Israeli territory since the beginning of the year. According to the IDF, over 440 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel since December 2008, at the end of Operation Cast Lead. The IDF said it "remains committed to protecting the citizens of Israel and will continue to act against terror. The IDF holds Hamas solely responsible for any terrorist activity emanating from the Gaza Strip." -- © BNO News All rights reserved 2010-10-
