RPG Possession Suspect Denies All Charges

The police have interrogated the man suspected of illegally possessing assault rifles and rocket propelled grenade launchers recently found in an apartment in Bangkok.

So far, the suspect has denied all charges.

Deputy Commander of the Metropolitan Police Bureau, Police Major-General Sumet Ruengsawat, along with the Bang Rak District Police Force conducted lengthy interrogations on 19 year old Suksan Rangwiren, who is the suspect of possession of AK assault rifles and rocket propelled grenade launchers found in an apartment near the Pheu Thai Party's old head office.

Suksan said he decided to turn himself in to the authorities after his mother pleaded him to.

So far, Suksan has denied all charges, claiming that he had nothing to do with the weapons and ammunition found, since he has moved out from the apartment since May.

However, the suspect has admitted that he had previously worked as a security guard at the Pheu Thai Party head office.

The police have pointed out that the apartment has been left vacant since Suskan moved out.

The weapons were discovered by the apartment owner who wanted to show the apartment to a new tenant.

The investigation team will compare the DNA sample collected from Suksan to the one found on the weapons.

Investigators say it will take some time for the test results to be completed.

Suksan has been charged with illegal possession of assault weapons.

He was arraigned at the South Bangkok Criminal Court.

If the accused did leave in May and was the last tenant, then the arsenal has been there the whole time.

There's also been no mention of any other occupants for the apartment during that time.

which sounds a bit like
